Example:  Type Upper Endoscopy in this box and press enter.
Upper endoscopy is a procedure that uses a lighted, flexible endoscope to see the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum—the first part of the small intestine (upper GI tract).
Upper GI endoscopy is performed to detect ulcers, abnormal growths, bowel obstruction, and inflammation.
This procedure may be used to determine causes of abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, swallowing, unexplained weight loss, anemia and bleeding.
Upper GI endoscopy may be used to remove stuck objects, including food, and to treat conditions such as bleeding ulcers. It can also be used to biopsy tissue in the upper GI tract.
